this town is getting ready for carnaval bigtime !!!

 there are miles and miles of bleachers.  we took a tour for 60 pesos each, we aate a a restaurant where the tradition is to clank your spon on the coffee cup in order to get more coffee, saw the beaches of veracruz and marongo. at night, there is music everywhere, tons of bars and restaurants filled with people milling around and talking.

  a wonderful town but it has seen better days. there was building after building abandoned. gorgeous and colonial and literally falling down.
