it is a spectacular waterfalll about 12 km outside the city limits
it was so worth it .... the falls are very high, you can walk right under them, the mist covers you, the thunder of the water falling is incredible
there are cabins for rent, i think the price was 300 pesos a night for 2. there was no one in any of the cabins but a couple arrived as we were leaving and they left their stuff inside one of the cabins.
the weather was a little on the cool side since it was cloudy or i wd have gone swimming. there were signs in FRENCH saying DO NOT SWIM WITH CLOTHES AND SHOES ON AS THE CURRENT IS STRONG. and the pool the guy said was swimmable was the firsto ne where the water actually falls and i tell y8ou, it looked far too dangerous to swim in !!
